Jenny Widman

Likes: sunshine, reading, traveling - the mountains in the summertime & beach in the winter, tidy spaces, Kansas City sports, shopping at local boutiques
Dislikes: reality tv, scary movies, salt with a margarita, complainers without a solution

Jenny was born and raised in Jefferson City, MO. She graduated from Missouri State University with a BS in Computer Information Systems and from Southeast Missouri State University with BS in Elementary Education (career change!). She has a Masters degree in School Leadership from Baker University, and is currently pursuing her Educational Specialist degree from the University of Missouri. Whew - she’s a perpetual student and a life-long learner. Jenny has a heart for serving others, especially kids.  She works as an elementary school administrator in our community, helping students, teachers, and families build partnerships through their educational experiences.  She’s excited to use her knowledge to advocate for foster families through KCMO Angels.

Jenny has been married to Robert since 2008, when she not only gained a husband, but two amazing girls as a bonus. In 2011, Robert and Jenny adopted their son to complete their blended family.  They’re a busy group, trying to keep up with five schedules, and value laughter, family traditions, and togetherness.
