Breana joined the KCMO Angels team in 2025, bringing with her a heart that has always been—and always will be—for kids. Before transitioning into the world of social work, Breana spent years in the classroom teaching 5th grade. This background in education allows her to bring a fresh, unique perspective to her role as Case Manager, helping her see the potential in every child and cheer them on as they find confidence in who they are.
Though she is the newest member of the staff, Breana’s dependable nature and "go the extra mile" attitude made her feel like a part of the family from day one. She is a natural team player and a fierce advocate who believes that every child deserves an intentional "village" of support. Whether she is building a vision for a new match or checking off the fine details of a case, Breana’s work is guided by her faith and her commitment to serving the Kansas City community.
Breana lives in Kansas City with her husband, a local firefighter, and their two rambunctious Goldendoodles, Archer and Kylo. Both Breana and her husband share a deep passion for service and love giving back to the city they call home. When she isn’t working, you can find her taking long walks with her dogs, enjoying a pool day in the summer sun, or spending quality time with her friends and family.
Extremely organized and intentional, Breana has a unique gift for connecting with youth. She knows how to talk to any child, no matter what walls they may have up, and has a natural knack for getting them to open up. She uses that trust to be a powerful voice for their needs, ensuring that every child she works with feels truly heard and supported.
