What is the perfect gift?

Do you ever find yourself wondering what the perfect gift would be? Or fret over the best way help someone in your community? Often we feel like we need to make these big gestures when in reality, it's the simple things that make all the difference in the world. Recently, a Love Box leader purchased a silk pillowcase for one of the girls in her Love Box family to help protect her hair while she sleeps. Little acts of kindness like this are things that show a family how much you care for them and how intentional support can make such an impact. This last month she also enjoyed taking meals for the family and learning more about their life. The foster mom is expecting a baby in October and needed help finding a new home for their pet cat. The Love Box leader stepped in to help take this off her plate. Serving a family by just helping them with day to day tasks that need to get done is such a powerful way to connect and grow. Our programs can help Foster Homes stay open longer than a year by giving them relational and physical support with their day to day life.
